Dr. Petti on The Doctors “Solve Your Biggest Double Dilemmas”

Dr. Christine Petti has offered her expertise as a plastic surgeon on “The Doctors” twice before, and has now made her third appearance on the Emmy Award-winning  daytime talk show that discusses vital and valid current medical topics from sound and expert medical resources.

Introducing “The Doubles”

During the episode, “Solve Your Biggest Double Dilemmas”, Dr. Petti was asked to evaluate and correct a “double chin”.  Tricia,  the patient chosen by Dr. Petti, is a 30 year old model, actress and bride to be!  She has had a double chin all her life, despite the fact that she had been in perfect physical condition.  She thought about having it corrected all her adult life, but with the wedding coming up-she now had a timely motivating factor.

Tricia’s Treatment Plan

Dr. Petti performed a combination of procedures which included placement of a silicone implant along the chin and jaw line to create a very natural augmentation of her weak chin and mandible.  Dr. Petti also performed Smartlipo TriplexTriplexSmartlipotrade;trade;trade; ™ of the neck to remove a congenital pocket of fat under her chin,  which was always there, despite the patient’s ideal body weight.  She also performed SmartSkin ™ fractional CO2 laser resurfacing of the skin of the neck for further tightening and contouring of the neck skin.  The surgery was remarkable for being minimally invasive-as the silicone chin/jowl implant was placed through an incision hidden in the lower lip of the mouth and the Smartlipo TriplexTriplexSmartlipotrade;trade;trade; ™ was done with small incisions behind the ear.  Tricia had tears of joy when she saw her result!  She was ready to hold her head high and her chin up for her October wedding on her family’s Texas ranch!

A Third Time Star on “The Doctors”

In her last appearance, in 2009, Dr. Petti was featured on  “The  Doctors-The Biggest Makeover Show Ever” as she revealed the aesthetic enhancement she performed on Debra, who flew in from Washington state for a facial makeover which included the surgical procedures-rhinoplasty, Smartlipo TriplexTriplexSmartlipotrade;trade;trade;  ™of the Neck and SmartSkin ™ of the face and neck, along with nonsurgical enhancement using Botox and Juvederm facial dermal filler in the postoperative recovery phase.  The year before in 2008, Dr. Petti performed Smartlipo TriplexTriplexSmartlipotrade;trade;trade; ™ of the abdomen on a young mother, who was challenged by fat in her tummy that was resistant to diet and exercise!  She was awake for the surgery and it was one of the first demonstrations of Smartlipo TriplexTriplexSmartlipotrade;trade;trade;™ to the pubic in the entire country.

Whether focusing on plastic surgery procedures, or less invasive procedures such as dermal fillers and laser skin resurfacing in Los Angeles, Dr. Petti says she is very excited about the makeover results, and is looking forward to unveiling another transformation achieved through the combination of procedures available through both her plastic surgery practice and her medical day spa in Los Angeles.

A “Must Read” Makeover Story

“There are so many different ways that I can tell my story because this was not only a medical procedure but it was truly a life change. I will try and sum it up although my story is so amazing. I truly hope that my story will help other women that are just like me…

Mothers are beautiful people we run around doing all we can for your children, and always putting our children first. We do this day in and day out for years! In the end, our children go off to college and one day we look down and find this pouch hanging from our body’s. For years we have ignored it and in fact we have grown to accept it. I thought I would be wearing it the rest of my days. I was one of those women that had always admired the beautiful panties and lingerie we all see in the magazines that arrived at my home and I thought that they were only for young women.

That was until I met Dr. Petti. The thought of writing this letter still brings tears to my eyes because of what she was able to do for me. My husband and I found ourselves alone both our two children went off to college without a second thought. I wondered how the transition of going from a full house of children and their friends to an empty nest would be and all of a sudden that ugly pouch scarred me. I was not a person that had ever given any serious thought of going through such a procedure but, suddenly I begin to consider what if?

After researching what life might be like I decided to come in for a consult. I want all women to know it was not easy for me to make this visit. I took my husband with me and asked him to be there for moral support and to help me not talk myself out of it. In the end, when I now look down at my body I no longer see an ugly belly. My belly is flat yes flat like it has never been before. It is not the body of a 55 year old women. I am now wearing the beautiful lingerie the very same one’s I use to admire in the magazines that were arriving ever so often. In fact, I now own almost every color you can buy. Oh, and by the way the fear I had about the empty nest that’s is all gone now too. How funny now that I look back my husband and I are enjoying our time together. The women that I use to look at that would go by my table at a restaurant with the flat bellies well, that’s now me going by. The result are better than I dreamed they be. I have no regrets and I have never been happier. To all the women that are thinking about doing this……. I offer one bit of advice stop thinking about it and do it! I only wish I could have made one minor change, I wish I would have done this 20 years sooner. For now I am enjoying the rest of my life with my husband and he too jokes around and says “thank you Dr. Petti”. ”

Dr. Petti Interviewed on Celebrity Plastic Surgery

After the recent surfacing of some unflattering pictures of Angelina Jolie, the celebrity news and gossip blog “Hollywood Life” reported suspicions that the actress had gone under the knife for a neck or facelift procedure.  As a top Los Angeles female plastic surgeon, Dr. Petti has been the name Hollywood Life has come to know and trust in the field. Wanting the truth revealed, the blog asked Dr. Petti in a recent interview if Jolie could have had a neck or facelift?
“That’s not even where any plastic surgeon would put a scar, which would be around the ear.”Adds Dr. Petti, “Angelina Jolie is a perfect example of the divine proportions of beauty. She is the epitome of beauty.”
