Dr. Petti Featured in Modern Aesthetics’ Smartlipo® Triplex Article
Our experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon, Christine Petti, MD, FACS, provided vital contributions on the benefits of Smartlipo® Triplex body contouring for the November/December 2020 supplement to Modern Aesthetics®. The supplement—titled “Best-In-Class Technologies for Body Contouring”—was sponsored by Cynosure® and highlighted the advantages of utilizing the state-of-the-art SculpSure®, Smartlipo® Triplex, and TempSure® systems for smoothing, slimming, and tightening areas of the body with minimal patient discomfort, risks, and recovery.
The section on Smartlipo® Triplex—which features Dr. Petti—presents the system as “A Smarter Way to Perform Lipolysis”. Lipolysis is defined as the process of breaking down fat cells. Unlike manual techniques, which use the force of the cannula to breakdown fat during liposuction, Smartlipo® Triplex uses laser energy to essentially melt fat. Dr. Petti explains that the main advantages of the Smartlipo® Triplex technology include its versatility and safety, along with its ability to effectively and precisely emulsify fat with adjustable laser energy.
