The patient has had disproportionately large breasts since puberty, which have remained consistently full and heavy. The excess breast tissue caused progressive breast pain, a pulling sensation in the neck and shoulders, upper back and neck pain, poor posture, and recurrent skin rashes beneath the breasts. She reported that all of these symptoms were directly related to the size and weight of her breasts.
The patient also experienced multiple episodes of severe, red, itchy rashes beneath the breast folds. Prior to surgery, she wore a 36DD–DDD bra and desired a postoperative size of 36C.
Results: 7 months after breast reduction surgery.
